Psychotherapy, counselling or talking therapy is a way to help people overcome emotional issues by helping them understand their issues and where they come from. Here at Counselling and Hypnotherapy Ely I teach clients strategies and give them tools to help them overcome stress, anxiety, unhealthy thoughts and behaviours. This allows the client to manage their symptoms better and function, at their best, in everyday life.
I am trained in many techniques so I can always find the right method for the individual. Although I am always person-centred in my therapy I also use psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt, Inner Child Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and many more. You are an individual and therefore one size does not always fit all, I can tailor the therapy to help you in the most appropriate way. I also have the advantage of being a hypnotherapist, who uses Parts Therapy and I am an Applied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner as well.
